Biography
Khasraw Goran was born in 1960 in Duhok. In 1987 he received a bachelor's degree in national economics from Stockholm University and a master's degree in history. 1994-2003: Director General of the Office of the Kurdistan National Assembly. In 2003, he was appointed deputy governor of Mosul by the Kurdish provincial council. In 2014, he became a member of the Iraqi National Assembly on the list Kurdistan Democratic Party. . . . The struggle
In 1976 he joined the ranks of the Kurdistan Workers Party (PKK) and in 1978 he joined the ranks of the Kurdistan Peshmerga Forces. He moved to Sweden as a refugee in the mid-1980s and returned to South Kurdistan in 1993.
