In 1992, he was wounded in the fighting against PKK fighters in Gla Shaban Mountain. In 1995, Faqe Ahmad Pishdari was promoted to the rank of commander of the 6th battalion of the 70th Brigade of the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) in Qasre.
