Sulaiman Ahmad Ismail Omar Dolamari was born in 1953 in Khara village of Mergasuri district of Erbil province. He joined the Peshmerga forces of the September Revolution in 1967 at the age of 14 and served with Ozer Dulamari in Dilman for three years.
After the signing of the March 11, 1970 agreement, he was transferred from Dilman to Qasre, where he attended a course in the use of artillery.
He was displaced to Iran in 1975 after the collapse of the September Revolution. He settled in Naghdeh and Zeve camp. He was transferred to Jahram and sent to Lahijan two years later.
In 1979, when the monarchy collapsed in Iran, Suleiman Ahmad and his brother Rashid rejoined the revolution and returned to southern Kurdistan as a detachment to carry out military operations against the Iraqi regime. In the same year, his brother Rashid was martyred in a clash with the Iraqi army in Kandi, Diyana district.
In 1980, he went to Barazgar plain in Syedkan district with Idris Barzani and Sheikh Mohammed Khalid from Zewa. After the trip and visiting the Barzan Peshmerga forces in the region, he returned to Zewa camp. In the same year, after returning from Razan in East Kurdistan, he participated in a course in the use of 57mm cannons. After completing the course, he went to South Kurdistan with Ozer Dolamari. In the same year, he participated in the Great Battle of Mergasuri under the command of Ahmad Saeed Spindari.
In 1988, he participated in the battle of Zahir's grave in the triangle of the border between East, South and North Kurdistan. After the Anfal and chemical attacks by the Iraqi government against Kurdish civilians, he returned to East Kurdistan.
In 1994, he was appointed as the deputy of the 100th Barzan Army. He was wounded four times in the battles of Sori in Dolamarian region in 1980, 1995, Spilk, 1996, Gomespan and 1997 The Battle of Shakrok.
On December 15, 2010, at the Thirteenth Congress, for his service and activities by the President Massoud Barzani He was awarded the Barzani Medal.
