Abdul Jalil Abdul Ridha, also known as Jalil Al-Faily, Bahoz, and Samir, was born in Baghdad in 1942. He came from a well-known Baghdadi family; his father was a merchant in Baghdad and a prominent social figure. He graduated from the Institute of Accounting and sought refuge in Iran after the 1967 defeat. September Revolution He was born in 1975 and resided there. Engage Jalil Al-Faily He joined the General Union of Iraqi Students, affiliated with the Iraqi Communist Party, in 1955. In 1957, he joined the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP-I). In 1958, he worked for the newspaper Khabat, the mouthpiece of the KDP-I in Baghdad. In 1959, he became a member of the Baghdad Local Committee of the KDP-Iraq's Fifth Branch Committee. Also in 1959, he was in charge of Khabat's Baghdad office. He was imprisoned in 1956, 1960, 1962, 1963, and 1968 for his political activities. In 1963, he was imprisoned and tortured in Hilla Prison. On February 24, 1964, he was released from Baghdad Central Prison. At the end of 1965, he joined the Peshmerga forces. He was a broadcaster in colloquial Arabic on Radio Voice of Kurdistan. In 1967, he became head of the Kirkuk Local Committee of the KDP-I's Third Branch Committee. In 1968 He was imprisoned and tortured in Kirkuk. In 1968, he was an active member of the Third Branch Committee of the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) when Ismail Aziz Mustafa (1938-2017), known as Ismail Mulla Aziz, was in charge of the committee. In 1968, he became head of the local committee in Balhak, affiliated with the Second Branch Committee of the party. At the end of 1968, he was a member of the ninth body of the Second Branch Committee. In 1968, he was a member of the court September Revolution In 1970, he became the head of the Khanaqin local committee of the Fifth Branch Committee of the Kurdistan Democratic Party, affiliated with the Executive Office of the Revolutionary Command Council in Iraqi Kurdistan. From 1972 to 1974, he served as head of the Qaladzeh local committee, also affiliated with the Fourth Branch Committee of the Kurdistan Democratic Party. In 1979, he was a founding member of the Zagros Oppressed Party. In 1982, he was a founding member of the Feyli Kurdish Muslim Movement. At the end of 1990, he was received in the village of Qasima Rash, in eastern Kurdistan, by Nawshirwan Mustafa, Assistant Secretary-General of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan. In 1991, he participated in the uprising in southern Kurdistan. Also in 1991, he met in Damascus with Jalal Husam al-Din Nur al-Din (1933-2017), also known as Jalal Talabani, Secretary-General of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan. On July 5, 1991, he was a delegate to the London Conference of the Iraqi Opposition. In 1992 He ran for office on the Yekgarten list for the Kurdistan National Council. In 1993, at the conference, he decided to dissolve the Feyli Kurdish Muslim Movement as a prelude to unification with the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP). Also in 1993, he was elected to the KDP Central Committee by delegates at the 11th Congress. On Wednesday, September 29, 1993, he published an article in Khabat, the official newspaper of the unified KDP. In 1993, he became head of the 11th Branch Committee in Ranya for the unified KDP. In 1994, he became head of the 10th Branch Committee in Soran for the unified KDP. From January to December 1996, he was re-elected as the third head of the 11th Branch Committee in Ranya. At the end of 1996, he was targeted by the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK), but the assassination attempt failed. On March 19, 1997, he took the oath of office before the National Council. Al-Kurdistani was a minister in the region in the third government formation. On July 26, 1997, he was elected president of the Fayli Kurdish Association at the first conference held in Erbil under the auspices of the president. On December 20, 1990, he was sworn in before the Kurdistan National Assembly as Minister of the Region in the fourth cabinet. On October 1, 2000, the Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Region requested the Kurdistan National Assembly to relieve him of his post as Minister of the Region. In 2005, he was a candidate on the 130-member Kurdistan Alliance list for the Iraqi National Assembly. Also in 2005, he was appointed a member of the Central Inspection and Oversight Committee of the Kurdistan Democratic Party. In 2005, he served as editor-in-chief of the Arabic-language magazine "Federalism," the mouthpiece of the party's Fifth Branch Committee in Baghdad. In 2010, he was a delegate to the 13th Congress of the Kurdistan Democratic Party. He is fluent in Kurdish, Arabic, Persian, German, and English.
