On October 11, 1945, after the collapse of the Second Barzan Revolution, he moved to East Kurdistan with his family. On March 31, 1946, he joined the Barzan force of the Kurdistan Democratic Republic Army in Mahabad Nelos was seriously injured in his right leg and lost his left eye. He was unable to go to the Soviet Union with Barzani and his comrades. He returned to South Kurdistan with Sheikh Ahmad Barzani and his family. He was not arrested by the Iraqi government because he was disabled. After recovering from his wounds, he moved to the Bradost Mountain Range, where he lived as a smuggler until 1958. On February 7, 1962, he participated in the battle of Marba in Sheikhan region of Badinan region.
After that, Mala Mustafa Barzani crossed to Soran region. Keko Mullah Ali went to Soran region with the force and participated in all the battles in the region. In 1962, he was slightly wounded in one of the battles in Syedkan region The effects of the 38-year-old wound have served his wife and children.
On August 16, 1996, he was awarded the Barzani Medal by President Barzani on the occasion of the Golden Jubilee of the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP).
