The conference was held on March 12-14, 2007 in Erbil, under the slogan of “Developing Women's Capabilities for Building an Equal Society” with the participation of 175 delegates.
The delegates elected a new executive committee as follows:
1- Dr. Kurdistan Abdulrahman, also known as Kurdistan Mukriani
2- Sabiha Ahmed Mustafa
3- Sana Yaqub
4- Mahabad Mohammed Amin
5- Nazdar Asad Mohammed Amin
6- Newroz Ezadin
7- Media Hassan Hussein
8- Jula Haji Omar
9- Kosar Karim.
Three candidates were elected by reserve votes:
1- Jawan Kamal
2- Vian Mayi
3- Roza Abdullah2
At its meeting on March 18, 2007, the Executive Committee elected Dr. Kurdistan Mukriani as the new Secretary of the Kurdistan Women's Union. The terms of the structure of the organizations of the Kurdistan Women's Union were changed and branches were changed to provincial councils, regions to district councils, organizational committees to district councils and six councils in Erbil, Kirkuk, Duhok, Sulaimani, Mosul and Baghdad. 4.
