The 7th Congress of the Kurdistan Women's Union was held on August 4, 2010 in Erbil.


On 4 - 5 August 2010, in Shahid Saad Abdullah Hall in Erbil. The seventh congress of the Kurdistan Women's Union was held in the presence of 208 delegates under the slogan of “Towards a civil society and a brighter future”.

The new executive committee was elected by the delegates as follows:

The structure of the organizations of the Kurdistan Women's Union consists of district and community councils, district councils, provincial councils, high councils and secretariat offices.

Duhok Provincial Council.

Kirkuk Provincial Council

Garmian Regional Council

Khanaqin Regional Council

Sinjar Regional Council

Mosul Provincial Council

Baghdad Provincial Council

European Office.

The secretariat consisted of eight departments: organization, statistics, reform and social, communications, culture and education, administration and finance.
