Biography
Ali Baba Ismail Haqi Ali Rasul, also known as Dr. Ali Baba, Dr. Ali and Aunt Dr., was born in 1940 in Sulaimani, the son of intellectual and revolutionary Ismail Haqi Shaweis (1898-1976). He received his master's degree in architecture from the Moscow Institute in 1968. In 1969 he was employed as an engineer in the Sulaimani Local Administration. In 1970 he was employed in the Sulaimani Municipality After the collapse The September Revolution He was exiled to Iran and later on the orders of the interim leadership Kurdistan Democratic Party He received his PhD in architecture from the Moscow Institute in 1977. He lived as a refugee in the Soviet Union from 1977 to 1981 and did not return to South Kurdistan. He lived in Belgium from 1981 to 1984 He settled as a refugee in 1985 at the request of the president Massoud Barzani He returned to South Kurdistan and lived as a refugee in Iran from 1985 to 1990. He died on December 6, 1990 in East Kurdistan and was buried in the cemetery of Marivan town in East Kurdistan He was buried in the cemetery of Saywani Hill in Sulaimani. He was fluent in Kurdish, Arabic, Russian, Persian and French.
