Biography
Dara Tofiq Fathullah was born in Sulaimani in the 19th century. His grandfather Haji Awla Agha moved to Sulaimani from Hamadan in East Kurdistan. He is the brother of Khasraw Tofiq Fathullah (1930-2004). He was a member of the Central Committee of the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP). In 1958, he was the secretary of the Kurdish Students Association To the country, addressed to the President Mustafa Barzani In 1959, he was the secretary of the executive office of the Iraqi Democratic Youth Union of the Iraqi Communist Party.
