After Barzani crossed from Badini to Soran, Haji Rasul was one of the Peshmergas who attacked Rayat Castle on July 11, 1962 and arrested all the soldiers and fighters inside the castle. He later took part in the battles of Bani Harir, Benkelan Bridge and the White Obstacle on the Hamilton Road. Until 1975, he was a Peshmerga in Balakayety and a guard of the political bureau in Nawprdan village.
1975 After Nskoy The September Revolution In 1977, the Iraqi government moved his family to Bastora community in Erbil region. In 1979, his son Ibrahim Haji was martyred in the mountain of Kosratan village in Choman district Qasmarash went to East Kurdistan and joined the interim leadership of the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP). He and his sons and relatives joined the ranks of the Peshmerga forces of the May Revolution.
In 1991 he returned to South Kurdistan and participated in the Kurdish people's uprising in Khoshnawti region. He continued to serve as a Peshmerga until the age of 85. In 1992 he returned to Kosratan village in Choman district and lived there until his death.
On August 16, 1996, he was awarded the Barzani Medal by President Barzani for his services to the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP).
