Martyr Qadir Zaman Allah Murad, known as Wasta Qadir, was a Peshmerga fighter in the September and Gulan revolutions. He sought refuge in Iran after the setback of the September revolution. He was wounded once during his struggle in the ranks of the Peshmerga. He was martyred in 1981 after being shot in the head in the epic of Mount Sharam.
The martyr Qadir Zaman Allah Murad Ali Wais, known as Wasta Qadir, was born in Tawila, which belongs to the Biara district in the Hawraman region. He was a resident of Tawila and worked as a gardener and carpenter. He sought refuge in Iran after the setback of the September Revolution and resided in Hankarmaleh, Iran. He was married to Sabriya Hama Reza, and they had one son and three daughters (Dilshad, Amira, Samira, and Sabahat).
He joined the Peshmerga in 1964 in the Third Company of the Seventh Regiment of the Piyara within the Khabat forces of the Kurdistan Democratic Party. He participated in many battles, including: the Battle of Zalem, the Battle of Zalem Bridge, the Battle of Kani Saif, the Battle of Ahmed Awa, and the Battle of Sharam.
He was seriously wounded in 1968 in Sirtak Bamo, near the city of Halabja, during clashes with the Iraqi regime's army.
On the recommendation of Nader Hawrami, he began organizational work within the Iranian refugee camp, informing his Peshmerga comrades in the Hawraman region to reorganize and prepare for the Gulan uprising.
In 1981, he participated in the epic of Mount Sharam. After two days of resistance against the attacks of the Ba'athist regime's army on the mountain and the Peshmerga's trenches, Qadir Zaman was shot in the head and was martyred immediately. His Peshmerga comrade (Majnoon Shaheed) was also martyred with him. His comrades transported their bodies into Iranian territory and buried them in the Iranian Mount Kemeneh.
