Martyr Suleiman Abdul Rahman Muhammad, known as (Suleiman Abdul Rahman Tagouzi), a Peshmerga of the Golan Revolution, fell in 1983 with two of his Peshmerga comrades in an ambush by the Baathist regime’s henchmen. Suleiman Abdul Rahman Tagouzi was arrested with injuries, and he was martyred a year and three months later in Mosul prison by being shot.
The martyr Suleiman Abdul Rahman Muhammad, known as (Suleiman Abdul Rahman Tagouzi), was born in the village of Toshkin, which belongs to the Bamo district in Halabja Governorate in 1962. He lived in the Zarain district and owned a shop selling materials in the district market. He completed the primary stage.
In 1981, he joined the main Peshmerga cell of the Martyr Sheikh Mohammed Organization within the Sirwan Forces of the Kurdistan Democratic Party. The cell leader was Hama Hama Saleh Kaljali, and the forces commander was Jalal Lawrani. He participated in combat operations in the areas of Shamiran, Tagozzi, Darbandikhan, the city of Halabja, and the Sharazur Plain.
On May 3, 1983, the martyr Suleiman and two of his Peshmerga comrades, Ghafour Muhammad Galjali and Faiq Ali Ghafour, were ambushed near the village of Hokan in the Tagouzi area of Halabja district by the Qalkhani militia loyal to the Ba'athist regime. Clashes ensued, and Faiq Ali was martyred. Suleiman Abdulrahman (Suleiman Abdulrahman Tagouzi) and Ghafour Muhammad (Ghafour Galjali) fell wounded into the hands of the militia after fierce fighting. Initially, the militia leader beheaded Ghafour Muhammad (Ghafour Galjali). They then handed Suleiman Abdulrahman (Suleiman Abdulrahman Tagouzi) and Ghafour Galjali's head over to the Ba'athist regime soldiers in exchange for money. After a year and three months in prison in Mosul, Suleiman Abdulrahman Tagouzi was martyred on July 22, 1984, by gunshot.
