Habib Hama Rashid Wahab

The martyr Habib Hama Rashid Wahab was born in the Biara district of Halabja Governorate in 1939. He lived in Biara and worked in gardening. He completed his primary education. He joined the Peshmerga forces of the Hawraman Brigade, affiliated with the Kurdistan Democratic Party, where Nader Hawrami was the commander at the time. He went with a detachment of Peshmerga to carry out activities in the Hawraman region in 1979, but they fell into an ambush set up by the army and mercenaries from the Jash. After fierce clashes, Habib Hama Rashid Wahab was seriously wounded. His comrades took him to Iran for treatment, but he died a day later from his severe injuries in one of Tehran's hospitals.
