This book consists of an introduction, two main sections and an appendix, documents, reports, lists of comrades, photo albums and maps.

The first part of the book deals with the events of 1945-1958 and includes several topics about the Barzanis going to East Kurdistan, the establishment of the Kurdistan Republic in Mahabad, the Barzani forces as the main force defending the republic. The Barzanis' retreat to the border, the Battle of Selwe and the Battle of Nalos and Gojar, the Iranian army's attack on the Shino Front, the Battle of Avras and Halaj and the Battle of Nerke.

The second part compares the military principles of Barzani's historical march with the world stories and consists of several topics such as crossing the Aras with military principles and procedures, objective principles such as Mustafa Barzani's goal in crossing the Aras The enemy uses the principle of coordination, self-organization and unity of the army, the principle of security, cooperation planning and legislation in the way of Aras, the principle of surprising resistance and the principle of insistence.
