In 2019, he was appointed Deputy Minister of Culture and Youth in the ninth cabinet of the Kurdistan Regional Government.

On November 6, 2022 at Fourteenth Congress of the Kurdistan Democratic Party  He was elected as a member of the central committee by the members of the congress in Duhok. He then became the head of the media and culture department of the Kurdistan Democratic Party.
