Naseh Ghafoor Ramazan, also known as N Bebak, joined the ranks of the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) in 1964. In 1969, he joined the ranks of the Peshmerga forces in the region of the committee of the third branch of the KDP. From 1980 to 1981, he was a member of the Sixth European Branch Committee of the KDP. In 1980, he supervised the KDP organizations in Austria. In 1989, he was elected as a reserve member of the Central Committee of the KDP by the delegates of the 10th Congress.
Biography
Dr. Naseeh Ghafoor Ramazan was born in 1948 in Kirkuk. His ancestry goes back to the Zanganay Faili tribe, whose ancestors left Kermanshah in East Kurdistan during the Safavid rule and moved to Ottoman-ruled southern Kurdistan. He completed his primary, secondary, and high school education in Kirkuk. In 1969, he was appointed as a teacher of revolution at Penjwen primary school. In 1969, he was appointed as an inspector of the information department by the September Revolution in the Hawraman region of Slemani province. In 1969, he was a student of the first course of teachers of the revolution in Nawprdan village of Erbil province.
He began writing poetry in 1970. In the same year, he moved to the Soviet Union to study. In 1971, he was admitted to the College of International Relations and International Law of Kyiv University. On 22 June 1976, he received his master's degree in international relations and international law from the University of Kyiv. On December 24, 1979, he defended his doctoral thesis. On 23rd April 1980, he received approval for his Ph.D. in Philosophy of History, History of International Relations, and Foreign Policy from the University of Kyiv.
In 1980, he moved to the Republic of Austria, where he remained until 1981. He returned to Iran in 1981 and lived there until 1987. From 1987 to 1991, he was the representative of President Massoud Barzani and the KDP in the Soviet Union. In 1990, he moved to Sweden as a refugee. After the Kurdistan Uprising, he returned to the Kurdistan Region.
In 1996, he received the degree of Professor from Salahaddin University. From 1997 to 2008, he was a lecturer in the Department of Law and Politics at the Evening College of Law and Politics of Salahaddin University Erbil. In 2006, he received the degree of Professor from Moscow University. In 2006, he became a member of Writers Without Borders. He is fluent in Kurdish, Turkmen, Turkish, Azerbaijani, Arabic, Russian, Ukrainian, Persian, German, and Swedish.
Dr. Nasih’s Striving Record
In the summer of 1964, he joined the ranks of the KDP. In 1966, he was awarded the honor of being a member of the KDP. In 1969, he graduated from the first round of the Revolutionary Teachers Training Institute. In 1969, he graduated from the first round of the Cadre Training Institute. In the summer of 1966, he was awarded the honor of being a member of the Kurdistan Democratic Party. In 1968, he joined the ranks of the Kurdistan Students Union in Kirkuk and was in charge of one of the KDP cells. In the summer of 1969, he joined the ranks of the Peshmerga forces in the region of the committee of the third branch of the KDP. From 1969 to 1970, he was a member of the Penjwen Regional Committee of the Fourth Branch Committee.
In 1970, he was a member of the Kurdish Students Association in Europe. From 1971 to 1976, he was a member of the Ukrainian Organization Committee of the Kurdish Students Association in the Soviet Union. On February 16-20, 1972, he participated in the 15th Congress of the Kurdish Students Association in Europe (K.S.S.E) in Bucharest, Romania. From 1976 to 1980, he was the head of the Soviet Organization Committee of the Sixth Branch of the KDP. Between 1980 and 1981, he was a member of the Sixth European Branch of the KDP. In 1980, he supervised the KDP organizations in Austria.
In 1981, he joined the ranks of the Peshmerga forces for the second time in his life. On September 28, 1981, he was appointed as a member of the media department. In 1981, he was in charge of the Kurdish publications department. In 1982, he was appointed as the head of the Slemani Regional Committee of the Fourth Branch Committee and Administration of the Branch. Between 1984 to 1985, he worked as a department member in the KDP organization. From 1985 to 1986, he was in charge of the Slemani Regional Committee of the Fourth Branch Committee. On October 5, 1985, he was appointed as the Administrator of the Fourth Branch Committee. In 1987, he worked in the Relations Department in Syria. From 1988 to 1991, he was a researcher at the Institute of Oriental Studies of the Soviet Union in Moscow. In 1989, he was elected as a reserve member of the Central Committee of the KDP in the 10th Congress. On November 5, 1991, he was appointed as a member of the organization department. On December 8, 1991, he was appointed as the head of the KDP cadre institute. From December 16, 1991, to February 18, 1992, he taught the program and internal rules of the KDP and the main principles of party organization in the ninth course of the KDP Cadre Institute in Pirmam semi-district of Erbil province.
On October 16, 1993, he delivered a speech as the Minister of Education of the Kurdistan Regional Government at the Freedom Congress of the Kurdistan Students Union and the Kurdistan Democratic Youth Union in Erbil. He was the director of the 10th, 11th, 12th, and 13th courses of the KDP Cadre Training Institute and continued to work until 2002. In 1992, he became a member of the Kurdistan National Assembly on the list of the Kurdistan Democratic Party. On July 4, 1992, he was appointed Minister of Education in the first cabinet. On August 19, 1992, he published a poem in the Khabat newspaper, the organ of the KDP. In 1993, he was elected as a reserve member of the Central Committee of the KDP-United in the 11th Congress. On April 25, 1993, he was appointed Minister of Education of the Kurdistan Region in the second cabinet. On Saturday, May 29, 1993, as the Minister of Education of the second cabinet of the Kurdistan Regional Government, he received Mrs. Barbel Hammer, Member of Parliament of the Bavarian Region of the Federal Republic of Germany. In December 1993, as the Kurdistan Regional Government's Minister of Education, he participated in the Kurdish Language Conference organized by the Sorbonne University and the Kurdish Institute in Paris. In 1993, he was elected as a reserve member of the Central Committee of the KDP-United in the 11th Congress. On October 16, 1993, as the Minister of Education of the Kurdistan Regional Government Kurdistan, he participated in the Freedom Congress of the Kurdistan Democratic Youth Union and Kurdistan Students Union in Erbil. From December 23, 1994, to March 28, 1995, he took refuge in the Kurdistan National Assembly with 58 members of the Kurdistan National Assembly from all lists to condemn the civil war. On December 30, 1994, his home in Erbil was looted by Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK) fighters. In the autumn of 1996, he represented President Massoud Barzani, accompanied by Aziz Mohammed and Dr. Ezeddin Mustafa Rasul visited Moscow to gain the support of the authorities for the Kurdish cause. On December 19, 1996, he was a member of the Higher Education Committee of the first term. On December 19, 1996, he was a member of the Relations Committee of the Kurdistan National Assembly-first term.
In 1997, he was in charge of the tenth course of the KDP Cadre Institute in Erbil. In 1998, he was in charge of the eleventh course of the KDP Cadre Institute in Erbil. In 1998, he was a teacher of party politics in the eleventh course of the KDP Cadre Institute in Erbil. On September 9, 1998, he was a member of the Higher Education Committee and the Peshmerga Affairs Committee of the Kurdistan National Assembly-first term. In 1999, he was nominated for membership of the central committee of the KDP in the 12th Congress, but he was not elected.
On March 14, 2000, he was a member of the committee to revive the birth anniversary of the late Kurdish leader Barzani by the Kurdistan National Assembly-first term. On April 11, 2000, he was a member of the Higher Education Committee of the Kurdistan National Assembly-first term. In 2001, he was a member of the committee to monitor the situation and welfare of Kurdish refugees in European and foreign countries Kurdistan National Assembly-first term. On March 17, 2001, he was the leader of the Yellow Faction (Kurdistan Democratic Party) in the Kurdistan National Assembly, and he remained in this position until March. On April 3-5, 2001, as the representative of Dr. Roj Nuri Sadiq, also known as Dr. Roj Shaweis, the Speaker of the Kurdistan National Assembly, he participated in and delivered a speech at the first academic conference on Kirkuk in Erbil Cultural Hall.
In 2001, he was a teacher of the organization, program, and internal rules of the KDP in the twelfth course of the KDP Cadre Institute in Erbil. On Thursday, November 2, 2001, he accompanied President Massoud Barzani to the graduation ceremony of the 12th course of the Cadres Institute in Erbil. On April 6, 2002, he became the chairman of the Education Affairs Committee and Higher Education of the Kurdistan National Assembly-first term. In 2001, he taught the program and internal rules of the KDP in the thirteenth course of the KDP Cadre Institute in Erbil.
On October 31, 2002, he was appointed as the leader of the KDP faction in the Kurdistan National Assembly-first term. In February 2003, he visited Russia as a delegation of the KDP accompanied by Dr. Roj Nuri Sadiq, also known as Roj Shaweis, in order to strengthen relations. From February 14, 2004, to April 14, 2004, he was a teacher of the program and internal rules of the KDP in the fourteenth course of the KDP Cadre Institute in Erbil. From 2003 to 2013, he was in charge of the Kirkuk Civil Society and Democracy Development Council. On December 30, 2005, he was nominated as a candidate of the Kurdistan Democratic National List No. 162 for the Kurdistan National Assembly. In 2005, he was a member of the Committee on Relations and Cultural Affairs in the Kurdistan National Assembly-second term. On June 4, 2005, he became a member of the Kurdistan National Assembly-second term. On September 9, 2005, on the order of the president of Kurdistan, he was appointed as a member of the Committee for Review and Implementation of Article 58 of the Iraqi State Operation Law for the Transitional Period-Second term. On August 23, 2005, he was a member of the Committee on Relations and Social Affairs in the Kurdistan National Assembly-second term. In 2006, he was a member of the International Organization for the Protection of Threatened Peoples.
On November 27-29, 2006, he attended the Moscow Conference on Russia and the Islamic World. On December 6, 2006, he was awarded the Mikhail Lomonosov Medal by the National Committee of Social Awards of the Russian Federation in Moscow. In 2007, he was a lecturer in the program and internal rules of the KDP in the 16th course of the KDP Cadre Institute in Erbil. In 2010, he was a candidate for the Kurdistan Alliance list for the Iraqi parliament. In 2014, he was the only person in the Middle East and Africa to be admitted to the Central Committee of the World Peace Games. In 2010, he was a delegate to the 13th Congress of the KDP. On December 18, 2010, he was awarded the Immortal Barzani Medal by President Massoud Barzani for his striving and resistance in the September Revolution, the May Revolution, the South Kurdistan Uprising, and the period of sovereignty.
