In 1980, he joined the Hassan Sala detachment as a Peshmerga, which was part of the Suren force's battalion under the command of Martyr Abubakr Bani. This force operated within the Darbandikhan area committee of the fourth branch of the Kurdistan Democratic Party. Jalal Mohammed Ahmad actively participated in rebellious activities in the Sharazoor plain and along the Iran-Iraq border. In 1981, he fought in the battle of Nalparez and endured an injury caused by a bullet. Likewise, He was seriously injured in the battle of Razla and Parazan.
During a return journey from the village of Shaneri in 1982, after conducting revolutionary operations in Said Sadiq, Jalal Mohammed Ahmad and his comrades were ambushed by the jashes of the Ba'ath regime. Following the encounter, he was gravely wounded and captured by the jashes. Subsequently, he was handed over to the Sulaimani General Security and ultimately executed by the Sulaimani security forces, becoming a martyr.
