Corporal Yassin

Yassin Muhammad, known as Corporal Yassin Doski, was a Peshmerga and commander of both the September and Gulan Revolutions, received the ranks of Sardasta, commander of the regiment, Commander of the battalion, squadron commander, Commander of the force, and participated in the 9th Congress of the Kurdistan Democratic Party.


Biography 

Yassin Muhammad known as Corporal Yassin Doski was born in 1932 in The Village of Bere in Amedi district, was an employee at Sarsang police station and later became a corporal and was transferred to Mosul. He stayed in Erbil for two years and was assigned as a mobile force to protect the borders of Kelshin and Khhnera, and he was granted the rank of staff-sergent by the government. He was transferred to Sherwan police station for a year and six months. On the request of Shekh Ahmad of Barzan he was retransferred to Tel Station and returned by the government to Sherwan Police Station. He was the Chief of station in Barzan for nine months. He was transferred again to telly police station due to the animosity of the police chief of the Barzan district. In 1975 he was a refugee in Iran and resided in Zewa camp, he passed away on 22nd of February 1992.


Memoir of struggle 

Corporal Yassin Doski joined the Peshmerga forces in 1960 with all the police station’s police with weapons, explosives, and walkie-talkies. In the September revolution of 1961, he was in the Swar Agha force as a platoon commander, participated in the first battle in Sherwan Mountain, after the liberation of Badinan region by Mullah Mustafa Barzani and before going to Soranarea, he was appointed Muhammad Amin Mirkhanassistant commander of the attack forces, he participated in the battles of Badinan area such as the battle of Betnur, Qumri, Kani Balav, Zewke, Besfke, Darya, Kameka, Garmava Haji Agha, Lomana, Zawita, Sari Zei, Swar and Spindar, Sari Athrush, Kavra Soor, Kulebehe, Tlbizina and Nahla and Sari Akre.

The afformentioned went to Soran area in 1962 and participated in the battles of towards strait Beshe, the stream of Berserin, Dargala, the Galala camps, Choman, and the Rayatyan castle was blockaded for 42 days, and according to the instructions of Arif Yassin, they dug a tunnel underneath to capture the castle, he was in charge of the forces in The Mountains of Siako, he participated in the battle of Gardan hushtir mountain. Under the supervision of Arif Yassin, the mayor and director of Mergasor sub-district were arrested and all their belongings were confiscated.

On July 13, 1963, during the Iraqi army's attack on the Peshmerga forces in Spilik, he was the commander of a branch of the Peshmerga under the command of brigadier-general Abdulkafi Nabwy and participated in the battle of Spilk and Darband of Kurei.

In 1963 he was in charge of the Spilk area and in a battle on the Khalifan-Spilk road they captured a military p;atoon. In 1963, he was injured in a battle in harir plain, and after treatment, he returned to Hawdian area, he participated in the battles of Hawdian and Baski Deri, Mazne, Shetne, Lelok, Khardan, Bestere, The stream of Wazhe, Gorato Plain, Kulana Dari, and Bersiavi Hill, and he was injured for the second time. In early 1964, on the orders of Mullah Mustafa Barzani, he moved his headquarters to Galala and valley of Shahidan and participated in the battles of Omar Qaum, Mawat, Gamo, Siri, and Bari mountain, He was the commander of front and participated in the Hafiz battle and returned to the Beshe Strait, where he participated in the battle of Omer Agha Strait, Pshti Badlian, Sarukani Diana, Sartiz, and Zozki.

In 1966 he became commander of battalion and was a commander of the Peshmerga forces in the battle of Zozk Mountain and Omer Agha Strait. In 1967 peshmerga forces commanded by Corporal Yassin in spindara village were able to capture the station of the Hiran Mobile Force. In 1970, in the formation of the forces on the border, he became squadron commander of the 10th regiment in Kani Smaqok, after the start of the war, he became the head of the Goraz Front, where he supervised many battles and was injured for the third and fourth time. In 1970, he was appointed as the commander of the force on the orders of Mullah Mustafa Barzani, and after the failiure of 1975 in Zewa camp, he became a member of the refugee supervision committee.

Corporal Yassin participated in the Gulan Revolution and temporary leadership and became the head of district of the Nerwa Rekan, Doski and Zhoori, and participated in the war between 1976 and 1979. In 1979, he participated in the ninth congress of the Kurdistan Democratic Party, in 1982, during the organization of the Peshmerga forces, He was commander of the force 57 and a leadership member of the Operation of The Shno and Kela Shin area. In 1983, under the order of President Masoud Barzani, he became the head of the Doski Zhoori district in the vicinity of The First Region, in 1986 He was appointed by President Masoud Barzani as the director of the Gulan District Committee and supervised the Military Division until 1987. In 1988, he participated in the Battle of Khwakurk and was a member of the Command Operation of Khwakurk, he was responsible for the Military Division in the vicinity of branch one, and was responsible for the axis of Sidakan.

Mohammad Hassan Bajlouri

Martyr Commander Mohammed Hassan Salim Ahmad was a Peshmerga of both the Aylul and Gullan Revolutions. In 1961, he contacted the Kurdistan Peshmerga forces. Then he was promoted to the rank of commander of the 4th Battalion of the Duhok Forces. On 26th November 1983, in the battle of Shino, he was martyred.
