Salih Tahsin Karim Marf was born in Year 1963 in the Khurmal sub-district, affiliated with Halabja Governorate. He was a resident of Khurmal and was engaged in farming and trade in the market. He studied up to the primary level. He was martyred in Year 1985.
Struggle RecordMartyr Salih Tahsin became a member of the secret cell of the Khurmal organization, affiliated with the Halabja Regional Committee of the Fourth Branch of the Kurdistan Democratic Party, in Year 1983.
In Year 1984, he became a Peshmerga in the detachment of Omar Ghamgin, affiliated with the Surên Force of the Kurdistan Democratic Party, at which time Malla Omar was the Commander of the force.
In Year 1985, Salih Tahsin and four comrades named Omar Ghamgin, Ghazi Banishari, Omar Balabarz, and Hussein, under the command of Omar Ghamgin, went into Khurmal to carry out an activity and a meeting with the secret cell of their force inside Khurmal. Immediately after completing the activity, they went to the Khurmal group, but they fell into an ambush by a Jash of the Ba'ath regime, and Salih Tahsin was martyred, and Omar Ghamgin was severely wounded.
