Martyr Riyad Saeed Mahmud Isqili, Known as (Riyad Isqili), was born in 1981 in the Zewe camp in the Country of Iran. In 1993, he returned with his family to Southern Kurdistan and settled in the city of Soran. He was a graduate of the 8th course of the Zakho Military Academy.
In 1993, after returning from Iran, he studied at the Soran Boys' School and joined the Students Union. After completing high school, he was accepted into the 8th course of the Zakho Military Academy. After completing the military course, he became an Officer with the rank of Captain and was a company commander.
On December 21, 2008, he was assassinated by Al-Qaeda terrorists in the city of Mosul and was buried in the Isqili cemetery.
