Lawyer and politician Mahmud Hashim Elias Slo, known as Mahmud Ezidi, son of the Martyr Mahmud Ezidi, joined the ranks of the Kurdistan Democratic Party in the Year 1985, delegate of the Eleventh Congress 1993 and the Twelfth 1999 of the Kurdistan Democratic Party, and in the year 2010 and at the Thirteenth Congress he was elected as a member of the Leadership Council of the Kurdistan Democratic Party, and in the year 2017 he was made the person responsible for the Sheikhan Branch Committee.

Biography

Mahmud Ezidi was born in the year 1970 in the sub-district of (Baadre – Sheikhan) in the Duhok Governorate. In the year 2010, he received a Bachelor's degree in Law from the University of Duhok. He is proficient in the Kurdish and Arabic languages.

Struggle Record

Mahmud Ezidi, in the year 1975 after the collapse of the Aylul Revolution was displaced with his family to Iran, and in the year 1976 he returned to Southern Kurdistan, where he was deported by the Ba'ath regime to Southern Iraq, and in the year 1978 he returned to Duhok.

In the year 1985, he joined the ranks of the Kurdistan Democratic Party and in the year 1991, he joined the ranks of the Peshmerga Forces of Kurdistan in the Sheikhan Force. In the year 1992, he participated in a cultural course at the headquarters of the First Branch in Duhok for a period of two months, and in the year 1998, he participated in the eleventh course of the Cadre Institute in the city of Erbil.

Delegate of the congresses of the Eleventh 1993 and the Twelfth 1999 of the Kurdistan Democratic Party, and in the year 2010 at the Thirteenth Congress he was elected as a member of the Leadership Council of the Kurdistan Democratic Party.

During his work within the ranks of the Kurdistan Democratic Party he held these duties and responsibilities: person responsible for the Batel District Committee 2000, person responsible for the Khabat District Committee 2002, person responsible for the Sinjar and Sinuni District Committee 2003, administrator of the Sheikhan Branch Committee 2006, person responsible for the Alqosh District Committee 2007 of the Kurdistan Democratic Party, Deputy Head of the Oversight and Inspection Board 2011, person responsible for the Sheikhan Branch Committee 2017.
