Khadr Hamad Omar, known as Khadr Qelitani, was born in 1948 in the village of Khwakurk, affiliated with the Sidakan sub-district, Erbil Governorate. He completed his primary education, was engaged in farming, and was married. He was martyred on July 19, 1997, in the Sidakan area.
In 1991, after the popular uprising of South Kurdistan, he joined the organizations of the Kurdistan Democratic Party. In 1995, he became a Peshmerga in the 6th Army of the Kurdistan Army, and in 1996, he was transferred to the 64th Force of the Sidakan Army. He participated in all the battles to defend the rule of law in the Balakayati and Sidakan areas.
On July 19, 1997, on Robi and Rwal Mountain, he was martyred by PKK militants in the battle to defend the rule of law.
