Masoud Mustafa Kaka Hama Hussein, known as Masoud Sallayi, joined the Party ranks in 1964; in 1974 he became the administrator of the Khabat Region branch Committee, which included the General Directorates of the September Revolution. In 1984 he became a member of the Kurdistan Democratic Party Media board. In 1989 in the Tenth Congress he became a member of the central committee. In 2005, he was placed in charge of the Central bureau of Organization, and in 2016, he was appointed as the head of the Supervisory and Investigatory Board.
Biography
Masoud Mustafa Kaka Hama Hussein, known as Masoud Sallayi, was born in Kirkuk in 1948, studied in Kirkuk until high school. In 1965 he completed the institute of teachers in the literature department, in 1966 he was accepted in the law department of Baghdad University, but he left it at the second stage of the university in 1967, in 1975 After the fail of September Revolution, he moved to The Kingdom of Iran and lived there as a refugee, in 1991 after the uprising, he has returned to Kurdistan. He knew Kurdish, Arabic, Turkish, Persian, and English.
Memoir of Struggle
In 1964 he joined the Party ranks, in 1964 he was a local Peshmerga of Kirkuk city, in 1965 he was appointed as the head of the Committee of the Dubz Organization of the committee of kirkuk region of the committee of the third branch, in 1966 he participated in the Karadagh battle in the vicinty of Sulaymaniyah governorate against the Iraqi republic army, in 1967 he was appointed as the head of the committee of outside Kirkuk’s region of Kirkuk region’s committee of the Committee of the Third Branch, in 1967, in which he was in the second year of the law department of Baghdad University, he was imprisoned by Ibrahim Ahmed-Jalal Talabani group and tortured and then was handed over to the Iraqi General Security Agency, for this he was permanently banned from getting an education.
In 1967-1968, he was imprisoned in Kirkuk prison and Bab Al-Shat prison in Mosul, on October 6, 1986, he participated in defense against the attack of the armed forces of Ibrahim Ahmed-Jalal Talabani group which had the support of the Iraqi army ground forces in jabari and Kara Hassan area in the vicinity of Kirkuk governorate, on the October, 13, 1968 under the command of Ali Qasim known as Ali Shingali, a member of the political bureau of the Kurdistan Democratic Party, he participated in the battle of Selbato mountain in the vicinity of Kairkuk governorate against the forces of Ibrahim Ahmed-Jalal Talabani group, in 1970, he was the representative of the eighth Congress of the Kurdistan Democratic Party but he did not attend it.
In 1974, he became the administrator of the Committee of the Khabat Region, which included the General Directorates of the September Revolution. Before 1983, he worked in the administrative department of the political bureau. On November 2, 1983 he was transferred as a member of the board of writers to the media department. On July 16, 1985 he was assigned to the Media Writers board. In 1984, he became a member of the Kurdistan Democratic Party's Media board. In 1985, he served on The Voice of Kurdistan Radio. On October 5th, 1985, he became a member of the branch committee in the second branch committee.
In 1986, he was a member of the board of writers of Safin magazine organ of the second branch committee. In 1986, he was appointed as the administrator of the third branch committee. On April 1st, 1987 he participated in the 53rd anniversary of the establishment of the Iraqi Communist Party in Karadagh area. In 1986-1987, he was the editor of Baba Gurgur magazine, in 1989 by the representatives of the congress, he was elected as a member of the Central Committee of the Kurdistan Democratic Party (Tenth Congress). On the 13th of January 1990, He was appointed as a member of the Media Committee. In 1991 he participated in the Southern Kurdistan Uprising, and in 1993 he was elected as a member of the Central Committee of the Kurdistan Democratic Party – United (Eleventh Congress).
In 1993, he was appointed as the head of the third branch committee of Kirkuk, on November 15, 1994 on behalf of President Masoud Barzani he participated in the first day of the congress of establishing the Socialist Democratic Party of Kurdistan. In 1994 he became a member of the central bureau of organization and later he was appointed as the head of central bureau of organization. In 1995, he published an article in the Brayati Newspaper an organ of Kurdistan Democratic Party – United. On the February 8, 1996, with the purpose of participating in the seventeenth anniversary of the victory of the Islamic Revolution of Iran, he visited Tehran with the company of the Kurdistan Democratic Party delegation. On Monday, July 28, 1997 in the city of Erbil with the company of the president Masoud Barzani participated in the opening of the fourth congress (Congress of Equality).
In 1997, he was the lecturer of organization at the Cadre Institute of the Kurdistan Democratic Party in Erbil. In 1999, by the representatives of the congress he was elected as a standby member of the Central Committee of the Kurdistan Democratic Party (12th Congress). In 2000, he welcomed a delegation of Arab intellectuals, in 2001, he was a teacher of organizing, programming and interior policy of the Kurdistan Democratic Party – United in Erbil. On Thursday, November 29, 2001 with the help of President Masoud Barzani in Erbil, he participated in the graduation ceremony of the 12th round of the Cadres’ Education Institute.
On Thursday, June 6, 2002, in Pirmam town, he participated in a joint meeting of the two political parties of the Kurdistan Democratic Party and the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan and they discussed the electricity problem and the federal project, on 14 February 2004 until the 14th of April 2004, he was the lecturer of organization in the fourteenth round of the Cadre Institute of the Kurdistan Democratic Party in Pirmam town, in 2004-2010, he was a member of the political bureau of the Kurdistan Democratic Party, in 2005 he was appointed as the head of the central organization bureau, in 2007 he was the lecturer of the sixteenth round of the Cadre institute of the Kurdistan Democratic Party in Erbil. In 2016 he was appointed as the head of the board of supervision and Investigation. On Tuesday, August 7, 2018, he participated in the opening of the eighth Congress (Congress of Peshmarga) of the Kurdistan Democratic Youth Union in Erbil City.
