He joined the Peshmerga forces in the Fifth Region of Sharazur under the leadership of Mulla Faiq Chochani. He participated in the Battle of Barkagan Camp, the Battle of Qajar Village, the Battle of Kani Spilkah, the Battle of Mount Sayed Sadiq, and guerrilla warfare activities in the Sharazur Plain.
He was martyred in a defensive trench after being shot on March 15, 1981, in the battle of Razla and Barzan during an attack launched by the Jalaliyun on the positions and trenches of the Peshmerga forces. Two of his Peshmerga comrades were also martyred with him: Sherzad Wala Samti and Khawla Zardawi. Mameh Rashah, known as Rashah Kacha, was seriously wounded.
