The martyr Sabah Bassam Nasrallah was a Peshmerga of the Kulan Revolution. He was martyred in 1981 in the Battle of Ahmed Awa.
The martyr Sabah Bassam Nasrallah Rasoul was born in Tawila, which belongs to the Bayara district in the Hawraman region. He was a resident of Tawila, worked in agriculture, and completed the primary stage.
In 1980, the martyr joined the Peshmerga forces of the Hama Hama Saeed regiment, which belonged to the Hawraman forces of the Kurdistan Democratic Party. Its headquarters was in Karjal. The commander of the forces at that time was Nader Hawrami.
In 1983, Sabah Bassam Nasrallah participated in the Battle of Ahmed Awa, defending against attacks by the Ba'athist regime's soldiers and militias on the Peshmerga's defensive positions in the Hawraman and Ahmed Awa region. Sabah Bassam Nasrallah and his Peshmerga comrade (Kamal Banishari) were martyred after fierce resistance and clashes with the regime's forces.
