Mohammed Kaki, also known as Hassan Hama Sur, was born in 1957 in the village of Wala Samt, which belongs to the district of Sayed Sadiq. He was a villager who practiced agriculture. He completed the primary stage and was married to Amina Mahmoud.
He joined the Peshmerga in 1981 in the Hama Saleh Qadir detachment of the Martyr Abu Bakr Bani Banuki Regiment, part of the Surin Forces of the Darbandikhan Local Committee of the Kurdistan Democratic Party's Fourth Branch. He participated in the Battle of Nawgardan in 1981, the Battle of Rezla and Barzan in 1981, and the Battle of Mount Golan in 1982. He also carried out guerrilla warfare missions in the Sharazur Plain. He was wounded in 1981 after being shot in the left leg. Hassan Hama Sur was martyred on September 18, 1982, by a traitor inside a defensive trench. The traitor shot him in the head, stole his rifle and a piece of his body, and surrendered to the Ba'athist regime.
