Martyr Ayub Muhammad Hama Rahim was a member of the secret organizations of the Kurdistan Democratic Party, the Peshmerga of the Gulan Revolution. He was captured in 1983 by soldiers of the Ba'athist regime in the Battle of Ahmadawa and was martyred after being tortured by the Halabja security services. He is one of the martyrs whose graves are unknown.
Ayoub Muhammad Hama Rahim Nader was born in Tawila, which belongs to the district of Bayara, in 1951. He was a resident of Tawila and worked in orchard farming. He is a graduate of the primary stage.
The martyr Ayoub joined the Kurdistan Democratic Party in his youth and became a member of the Tawila organizations affiliated with the Halabja local committee of the party, and he rose through the party ranks until he became an active cadre in the region.
He joined the Peshmerga forces of the Gulan Revolution in 1981, specifically the Hawraman forces of the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) under the leadership of Nader Hawrami. Simultaneously, his party rank was that of a member of the Ababili Organization, affiliated with the Halabja Local Committee. In 1983, he participated in the Battle of Ahmadawa. This battle involved a large force of soldiers, militias, and mercenaries of the Ba'athist regime, who attacked the Peshmerga defensive positions. Two Peshmerga fighters were martyred in this battle: Anjuman Mama Yara and Raouf Hajiji. After Ayub Muhammad, Younis Faraj, Naji Hama Latif, Hama Mam Ali, and Ramadan were arrested by regime soldiers due to running out of ammunition and combat supplies, they were transferred to the Halabja City Security Directorate. After days of brutal torture, including burning and mutilation, Ayub Muhammad Hama Rahim was martyred. His body was not returned to his family, and he is therefore considered a martyr.
