Martyr Amin Hama Karim Ibrahim, a Peshmerga fighter in the September Revolution, was martyred in the Battle of Zelem Bridge in 1963, and his body was run over by a military tank.
Amin Hama Karim Ibrahim Abdullah, known as Kuikha Amin Dargashikhan, was born in the village of Dargashikhan, which belongs to the Biara district in the Hawraman region. He was a villager who practiced agriculture and gardening. He was married to Naznin, and they had two sons and three daughters (Hama Khan, Mirza, Qadam Khair, Parween, Humaira).
His son Hama Khan Amin was martyred in the Khwakurk epic in 1988, and his other son Mirza Amin was martyred in the chemical bombing of Halabja in 1988.
In 1961, he joined the Peshmerga forces of the Hawraman faction, led by Sheikh Hama Amin, which belonged to the Khabat Regiment of the Kurdistan Democratic Party.
On September 12, 1963, the 20th Brigade of the Iraqi Army, then led by Brigadier General Zaim Sadiq, attempted to attack the city of Halabja and its defensive positions. However, a Peshmerga force on the Zalem Bridge had built defensive barriers, and when the enemy approached, this force confronted them. Amin Hama Karim participated in that epic battle. After fighting that lasted for hours, during which a number of military vehicles and tanks were destroyed, Amin Hama Karim and a number of his Peshmerga comrades were martyred. Not content with that, the enemy ran over his body with a military tank.
