The martyr Ahmed Ali Ahmed Mustafa was one of the Peshmerga of the Gulan Revolution. He was wounded three times during his struggle in the ranks of the Peshmerga. He attained the position of commander of a regiment belonging to the Hawraman forces. He was martyred in 1987 while confronting the Ba'athist regime's army in Mount Zarda in the Qardagh region.
Ahmed Ali Ahmed Mustafa, known as Ahmed Sheikh Ali, was born in the Biara district of Halabja Governorate in 1951. He was a resident of Biara and worked in agriculture and horticulture. He was married to Siham Majid, and they had three sons and two daughters (Sirwan, Heman, Omar, Amina, and Maryam). His daughter Maryam was killed in the chemical attack on Halabja on March 16, 1988.
He joined the Peshmerga forces of the Hawraman forces of the Kurdistan Democratic Party in 1981. Due to his strong social personality in the Hawraman region and the city of Halabja, the official of the fourth branch of the Kurdistan Democratic Party and the commander of the Hawraman forces transferred him to the headquarters of the fourth branch of the party.
He was wounded three times during his struggle in the ranks of the Peshmerga. The first time was in the village of Tepe Kora in the Sharazur Plain in 1983. The second time was in the village of Shira Mar in the Sharazur Plain in 1984. The last time he was seriously wounded, as he was hit by six bullets in the village of Basharat in the Sharazur Plain in 1986.
He was appointed commander of a regiment belonging to the Hawraman forces of the Kurdistan Democratic Party in 1985. He was martyred in April 1987 while confronting the Ba'athist regime's army in Mount Zarda in the Qardagh region.
