This book is the eleventh in the series of books titled "60 Years of the September Revolution (1961-1975)." It consists of six sections and an appendix of photographs. The book provides an introduction and an independent section on the geography, history, and composition of the Barzan tribe and Sheikh Mohammed Barzani.
The first part of the book contains two topics that address the Kurdish national movement led by Sheikh Abdulsalam Barzani and Sheikh Ahmed Barzani. The second part covers four topics, including World War II and its impact on the Kurds, the Kurdish national movement led by Mullah Mustafa Barzani, the historic route of the Kurdish liberation movement's leader from Mahabad to the Aras River, and Mullah Mustafa Barzani's time in the Soviet Union.
The third part consists of two topics that discuss Mullah Mustafa Barzani after his return from the Soviet Union to Iraq and the outbreak of the September Revolution (1961-1975). The fourth part includes six topics that cover the life of Idris Barzani, the July 14, 1958, and September 1961 revolutions, Idris Barzani in the Battle of Handren and the March 11, 1970 agreement, Idris Barzani as an ambassador of peace and The 1975 Algiers agreement, and Idris Barzani's involvement in conflicts within Kurdish parties.
The fifth part consists of five topics that discuss the role of Idris Barzani in advancing national interests as the loyal savior of the Kurdish home. It also explores the mass graves of the Barzanis, the tragedy of gold, and the role of Idris Barzani in party relations. The sixth part consists of seven topics, including Idris Barzani's role in the formation of a new committee to manage the affairs of refugees, his leadership as a loyal leader for the Peshmergas and a friend and mentor to the youth, and his diplomatic contributions. The final chapter in the book discusses Idris Barzani's efforts to return the bodies of Mullah Mustafa Barzani and Idris Barzani to their homeland.
