Kurds in British Documents

This book is a collection and translation of several documents between the years 1909-1945 regarding the Kurdish revolution and struggle, most of which were exchanged in the form of reports and letters between British officials.

The documents have been organized according to topics consisting of a preface and documents in the Arabic language; the topics of the documents also include the Sheikh Abdulselam Barzani Movement of 1914, Sheikh Ahmed Barzani and the Kurdish Support Association, Mela Mustafa Barzani and Nuri Said, the situation in Kurdistan in 1929, Bakir Sidqi and the Kurds and national minorities in Iraq, the Scientific Association and its role in the Kurdish National Movement, the autonomy project of Mustafa Kemal Pasha for Turkish Kurdistan in 1922, Melaye Gewre and the British, Kurdish relations and Nazi Germany, the Kurds and the Rashid Ali al-Gaylani Movement in 1941, the Sheikh Said Hafid movement of 1909, the role of the Xoybun Association in the national movement, Simko Shikak and Mustafa Pasha and Mar Shimun, the text of the letter from Mustafa Pasha to his son, and Sheikh Mahmud and Simko Shikak.
