Khalid Shli
Khalid Muhammad Ibrahim Hussein, known as (Khalid Shli), was born in 1943 in Duhok Governorate. In 1962, he joined the Kurdistan Democratic Party and in the same year joined the ranks of the Peshmerga of the Aylul Revolution. After the collapse of the Aylul Revolution, he became a refugee in Iran. He participated in the Gulan Revolution. With the 1991 uprising, he returned to Southern Kurdistan with the people of Kurdistan. In 2004, he was the head of the Aylul Agency in Akre, and he was a recipient of the Barzani Medal.
