Qadir Yunis Ali Brifkani
Sheikh Qadir Sayyid Yunis Sayyid Ali Sayyid Ahmadi Brifkani, known as (Dr. Qadir Brifkani), was a physician and one of the prominent figures of the great Aylul Revolution. He was born in 1926 in the village of Brifka in the district of Duhok, which was part of the Mosul Governorate at the time. In 1944, he became a member of the Hiwa Party, and in 1946, he became a member of the Kurdistan Democratic Party. In Year 1962, as a physician, he joined the Aylul Revolution until the collapse of the revolution in 1975.
