On October 20, 1980, a significant battle occurred on the road between Sayed Sadiq and Penjwen. A confrontation between a Peshmerga force and the Iraqi army led to intense fighting, resulting in a notable victory for the Peshmerga and heavy casualties for the Iraqi army.

In the Battle of Biara, the Peshmerga Forces began fighting and operating in the early months of 1982 in the Biara and Shram areas. They did this by launching a massive attack on the army and government forces' bases, which allowed them to seize control of the area and cause severe damage to the Iraqi army and its possessions.

On May 31, 1982, a momentous occurrence transpired in the Sharazoor region, where the collective Peshmerga forces of diverse Kurdish factions in the Jud Front, namely the PDK, the Socialist Party, and the Communist Party. During the battle, numerous soldiers and Jashes lost their lives in the battle, along with four Peshmergas. Subsequently, the government forces retreated to the Sayed Sadiq barracks.

The Battle of Ruandz took place during the summer of 1965 in the vicinity of Mount Korek, Ruandz, and the Diyana Plain. The primary objective of the revolutionary leadership in this offensive was to seize control of Mount Korak and Gali Ali Beg valley. This strategic move was in response to the relentless assaults by the Iraqi army on Zozk, Handren mount, and other surrounding areas, which were intended to exert pressure on the revolutionary forces in the Balakayety region.

The Battle of Zewke, a pivotal event during the Gullan Revolution, occurred on April 15, 1983, in the Badinan region. A large force of the Iraqi army launched an offensive on Zewke village, located in the Mangeshki area, as part of their effort to reassert governmental control and dominance over the region. While the Iraqi forces were conducting a search operation in the village, a Peshmerga patrol operating nearby became aware of the attack.

In late 1968, the Iraqi government, with the support and coordination of the fighters from the old political bureau wing, launched a significant military campaign targeting areas under the control of the Aylul Revolution. This offensive enabled Iraqi forces to seize a considerable portion of the Garmian and Qaradagh regions. However, in response, the revolutionary leadership orchestrated a comprehensive counteroffensive in November 1969, aiming to reclaim these lost territories.
