The Sixth Congress of the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) was held in Qaladze on July 1, 1964, at the request of President Mustafa Barzani and with the approval of the High Supervisory and Inspection Committee, after the party's political bureau attempted to split the party at the 1964 Mawat conference.

The second congress of the Kurdistan Democratic Party (Kurdistan Democratic Party, Iraq, October 4, 1959) was held openly in Baghdad after the return of General Mustafa Barzani and his friends from the Soviet Union and resolving the party's internal problems.

Post Hamza Abdullah’s return and building the party’s new political bureau. Kurdish Democratic Party’s second conference was held on the 13th of March 1951 in Baghdad City.

Baghdad Conference of the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP): (Baghdad Conference of the Iraqi Kurdish Democratic Party - early 1950) was organized by the Baghdad KPD Committee. It was held in reaction to the 1950 Koya meeting which intended to form an interim central committee and prepare for the second congress of the KDP.

Koya General Congress - (Koya National General Congress - March 18, 1963), on the proposal of President Mustafa Barzani, commander-in-chief of the September Revolution, and with the presence of members of the Political Bureau of the Kurdistan Democratic Party and patriotic personalities from all walks of life was held in Koya in order to negotiate with the Iraqi Ba'athist government.

September uprising (The national uprising of Eylul, September 11th 1961) was held with the leadership of Mustafa Barzani against the republic of Iraq in the southern Kurdistan. It lasted until the Algiers Agreement in 1975.

On May 5, 1960, the Fifth Congress of the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) was held in Baghdad, after the party received official license from the government.

The Political Bureau of the Kurdistan Democratic Party in response to Ibrahim Ahmad’s request, party secretary, to oppose President Mustafa Barzani, the leader of the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP), organized and held Mawat Conference- Mawat Conference of the Political Bureau of the Kurdistan Democratic Party – Iraq – April 9, 1964, in Mawat village.

Under the influence of Hamza Abdullah’s wing separation, the Kurdistan Democratic Party’s Third Conference (KDP-Iraq, 26 January 1953) assembled in Kirkuk. Note: Party conference (British English), party convention, or congress (American English).
