Salah Mohammed Sharif, also known as Salah Haji Sharif, was born in 1955 in the village of Wlasmti in Said Sadiq district. He was a villager and a farmer. In 1977, he was forcably transferred to the community of Shaner by the Ba'ath regime. Moreover, he was married to Maryam Fatah and had two sons and two daughters named Ako, Shaho, Halima and Chnur.
In 1980, he joined the headquarters of the Suren force of the fourth branch of the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP). At the time, Mallah Omar Bani Banok served as the force's commander.
He participated in the battle of Razla and Parazan in 1981, the battle of Sarbalkha in 1982, the battle of Ahmad Awa in 1987, and activities in the Sharazoor plain and the Suren mountain.
On the Rishen water bridge in the Sharazoor plain in 1988, the jashes of the Ba'ath regime ambushed Salah Mohammed and a group of his comrades. As a result of the confrontation, Salah Mohammed and two comrades named Tawfiq Rahim and Jalal Penjweni were martyred.
