Muhammed Ahmed Aziz Omar

Martyr Muhammad Ahmed Aziz Omar, a Peshmerga of the September Revolution, participated actively in most of the epic battles of the Halabja area, and in 1969, they stayed near Halabja city to rest, a treacherous force attacked them and martyred Muhammed Ahmed and two of his companions.


Mohammed Ahmed Aziz Omar was born in 1947 in the village of Zarey in Halabja Province, he was a villager who was busy in farming, he was engaged, and his fiance was Khumera Hama Salih.

In 1966, he became a Peshmerga in the fourth branch of the sixth battalion of Bamo of Khabat force of the Kurdistan Democratic Partywith the cause of the Kurdistan Democratic Party, in 1967 he participated in the Battle of Khoshk, the battle of the rebel group, the Battle of Nawroli, the Battle of Halabja، and the battle of Sirwan sub-district.

In 1969, Mohammed Ahmed Aziz, along with two of his companions named Ali Mirza Muhammed and Salihi Mamo Hussein, after returning from an operation in Halabja, they arrived at (Shakhsi Gulani Shekh Mamun) which is near Halabja city and they wanted to take a rest and return to their headquarters, but a trecherous force received information about them and surrounded the place, after a few hours of confrontation Mohammed Ahmed Aziz and two of his companions were martyred.

Martyr Sabah Mohammad Arif, following the collapse of the September Revolution, sought refuge in Iran and joined the Peshmerga forces during the May Revolution. Tragically, in 1981, he fall victim to an ambush by PUK forces in the Sharazoor plain, resulting in his martyrdom.

Jalal Mohammed Ahmad

Martyr Jalal Mohammed Ahmad served as a Peshmerga during the May Revolution. Throughout his Peshmerga career, he encountered two occurrences of injury. In 1982, he was apprehended by the Sulaimani security forces and subsequently executed. Jalal Mohammed Ahmad was born in 1962 in the village of Dula Suri, located in the Nalparez district of Penjwen district. He grew up as a villager and received education up until primary school.
