Muhammed Abdulkarim Muhammed Mahmoud

Martyr Muhammed Abdulkarim Muhammed was the Peshmerga of both the September revolution and the Gulan Revolution, in his life as a peshmerga he was injured once and received the rank of Platoon commander, in 1981 near the village of Greza of Sharazur plains with one of his brothers they were ambushed by a force of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan and they were martyred.


Muhammed Abdulkarim Muhammed, known as Hama Grezayi, was born in 1951 in the village of Gerza in Saidsadiq district, he was a villager and was busy with farming. In 1981, he had a brother named Hama Salih got martyred with him; Hama Grezayi became a refugee of Iran after the fail of September revolution and settled in Dezli vicinity. After their return to Kurdistan, they were segregated to southern Iraq by the Ba'ath regime and settled in Diwaniyah city. He was married his wife was Gulchin Farooq and they had three sons and one daughter named Salar, Swara, Soran, and Chenur.

In 1967, he became a Peshmerga in the 3rd branch of the 9th Battalion of Martyr Dilshad , which belonged to the Kurdistan Democratic Party Khabat force, at which time Sheikh Mohammed Basaki was platoon commander and Fatah Agha was the commander of the battalion. In 1969 he received the rank of platoon commander in his branch. In 1974, he was seriously injured in the battle of Sartez Mountain.

In 1979, he rejoined the Peshmerga force of the Gulan Revolution and became a Peshmerga by Abdullah Agha, who belonged to the Hawraman force of the Kurdistan Democratic Party.

On September 4, 1981, after conducting an activity in the Sharazur plain, they wanted to go to the village of Greza for a short rest and to take some special necessities to the mountain, but before reaching the village of Greza, they fell into the ambush of the Patriotic Union and faced them, as a result, Hama Grezayi and His brother Hamasalih were martyred.

Martyr Sabah Mohammad Arif, following the collapse of the September Revolution, sought refuge in Iran and joined the Peshmerga forces during the May Revolution. Tragically, in 1981, he fall victim to an ambush by PUK forces in the Sharazoor plain, resulting in his martyrdom.

Jalal Mohammed Ahmad

Martyr Jalal Mohammed Ahmad served as a Peshmerga during the May Revolution. Throughout his Peshmerga career, he encountered two occurrences of injury. In 1982, he was apprehended by the Sulaimani security forces and subsequently executed. Jalal Mohammed Ahmad was born in 1962 in the village of Dula Suri, located in the Nalparez district of Penjwen district. He grew up as a villager and received education up until primary school.
