Karim Fatah Qadir Nader

Martyr Karim Fatah Qadir was a Peshmerga of the September Revolution. In 1963, he and a group of comrades were surrounded by the Iraqi regime in Hassan Awa village. After their arrest, Karim Fatah and three comrades were shot dead.


Martyr Karim Fatah Qadir was born in 1902 in Hassan Awa village of Halabja province. He was a villager and a farmer. Karim Fatah Qadir was married to Kafia Mohammed and had two sons and two daughters. One of his sons, Omar, was martyred with him. Ahmad, Khawar, and Bahya were the names of his sons and daughters, respectively.

In 1963, he became a Peshmerga of Faraj Haji Mahmoud branch of Kurdistan Democratic Party through the main division of Abdullah Baghdadi of Nawroli organization. 

 

In 1963, he traveled back to the village of Hassan Awa with Martyr Hama Gulpi and a group of comrades for a brief rest and to tend to their needs. However, they were exposed and a large force of the Iraqi regime surrounded the village. Hama Gulpi and a number of his comrades made their escape, while Omar Karim Fatah, Haji Karim, and Salih Mohammed Ali, three of Karim Fatah Qadir's companions, were apprehended and killed at the village gate.

Martyr Hassan Mohammed was a Peshmerga fighter who played a significant role in the May Revolution. Throughout his career, he encountered one injury. Unfortunately, in 1982, he was tragically martyred by a betrayer while serving as a Peshmerga. This individual seized his weapon and a portion of his body and surrendered to the Ba'athists.

Martyr Sabah Mohammad Arif, following the collapse of the September Revolution, sought refuge in Iran and joined the Peshmerga forces during the May Revolution. Tragically, in 1981, he fall victim to an ambush by PUK forces in the Sharazoor plain, resulting in his martyrdom.

Jalal Mohammed Ahmad

Martyr Jalal Mohammed Ahmad served as a Peshmerga during the May Revolution. Throughout his Peshmerga career, he encountered two occurrences of injury. In 1982, he was apprehended by the Sulaimani security forces and subsequently executed. Jalal Mohammed Ahmad was born in 1962 in the village of Dula Suri, located in the Nalparez district of Penjwen district. He grew up as a villager and received education up until primary school.
