Hama Rashid Mohammed Abdulrahman, also known as Hama Khorsha, was born in 1950 in Sarshata village of Tagozi region of Halabja province. He was a villager and farmer, and he studied until he finished primary school.
He fled to Iran and settled in Jwanro after the Aylul Revolution's demise. Also, He was married to Khawar Ahmad and had one son and one daughter named Nasr and Shawnm.
In 1969, he became a Peshmerga in the fifth branch of the seventh battalion of the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP). Furthermore, he participated in several battles including the Battle of Zozk, the Battle of Sartiz, the Battle of Bamo, the Battle of Halabja, the Battle of Darbandikhan, the Battle of Khanaqin and the Battle of Bani Bolan.
After he fled to Iran as a refugee, he became a Peshmerga in 1976 in the Tagozi battalion, which was commanded by Qadir Hamasaleh Tagozi. Moreover, he was shot and critically hurt in the Battle of Bani Bolani in 1977 in the Halabja province's Bamo district against the Iraqi army. Then, they came across an enormous force of soldiers and "Jashes" of the Iraqi regime in the Tagozi region in the village of Kani Zhenani in 1979. Unfortunately, Hama Rashid Mohammed (also known as Hama Khorsha) and a fellow combatant named Abdullah Ahmad were arrested during the clashes and transferred to Mosul prison. They were executed and martyred after spending three months in prison. He is one of the martyrs whose grave is unknown.
