Hama Murad Baqi Amin

Hamamrad Baqi Amin, a martyr from the Aylul Revolution, was a Peshmerga soldier. Throughout his Peshmerga career, he sustained two wounds. During the Battle of Penjwen in 1969, he was martyred.


Hamamrad Baqi Amin was born in 1939 in Tewela village of Biara district of Hawramabad region. He was a villager, and he worked in agriculture and gardening.

He enlisted in the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) struggle force in 1966 and joined the Peshmerga. Abdul Wahab Atroshi was in charge of the force at the time. Additionally, Hama Murad had always worked closely with the commander because he was one of his dependable confidants. Moreover, he took part in the Battle of Chwarta and sustained injuries. Additionally, he took part in the Battle of Chwarqurna, where he suffered a second serious injury.

 

Hama Murad Baqi was martyred in an encounter with the Iraqi government in Penjwen district in 1969 after being shot in the head.

Jalal Mohammed Ahmad

Martyr Jalal Mohammed Ahmad served as a Peshmerga during the May Revolution. Throughout his Peshmerga career, he encountered two occurrences of injury. In 1982, he was apprehended by the Sulaimani security forces and subsequently executed. Jalal Mohammed Ahmad was born in 1962 in the village of Dula Suri, located in the Nalparez district of Penjwen district. He grew up as a villager and received education up until primary school.
