Babakr Pishdari

Commander Babakr Mahmoud Hawez, also known as Babakr Pishdari, joined the Peshmerga forces of Aylul Revolution in 1961. He was a member of the organization committee of Sangasar military department. In 1991, he was the representative of President Masoud Barzani in Pishdar and Bitwen.


Babakr Mahmoud Hawez was born in 1927 in Pishdar region. He studied until primary school. He was also married. After the September Revolution collapsed in 1975, he fled to Iran. Then, he returned to Kurdistan in 1976. Furthermore, he was once more made a refugee in Iran in 1988, and he went back to Kurdistan in 1992. He died in 1993 in London, the capital of Britain.

In 1961, he contacted the Peshmarga forces of Aylul revolution, and he became a member of the organization committee of Sangasar Military Department. Moreover, in 1963 he was appointed battalion commander of the Kawa Force. Furthermore, from 1967 to 1970 he was the deputy commander of the Kawa Force in Qaladze. Then, from 1970 to 1974 he worked in the military bureau. In the same year, he was in charge of the battlefront of Mount Zozk until the end of the September Revolution. In 1985, he became the head of a special force under President Masoud Barzani.

In 1991, he became the representative of President Masoud Barzani in Pishdar and Bitwen. He participated in many battles. For example, he commanded the 1968 military operation conducted by the Peshmerga forces of Kawa force, which involved attacking the headquarters of an Iraqi army brigade in Kiwarashi, Sangasar district. In this battle, the Peshmerga achieved the destruction of 5 jeeps, 4 military battalions, and they gained several light and heavy weapons.

Khidr Abdullah Rasul also known as Khidr Dabagh was a Peshmerga of the Aylul Revolution. It was in 1963 when he contacted the Peshmerga forces of the Aylul Revolution. Later on, He became the commander of the Artillery Force of the Aylul Revolution and an assistant to Mala Mustafa Barzani for artillery affairs.

Mohammad Hassan Bajlouri

Martyr Commander Mohammed Hassan Salim Ahmad was a Peshmerga of both the Aylul and Gullan Revolutions. In 1961, he contacted the Kurdistan Peshmerga forces. Then he was promoted to the rank of commander of the 4th Battalion of the Duhok Forces. On 26th November 1983, in the battle of Shino, he was martyred.
