Asad Wussein Ghafur Hussein

Martyr Asad Wussein Ghafur was a Cadre of the Kurdistan Democratic Party Organizations, a political prisoner, and a Peshmerga of the popular uprising of the people of Kurdistan, he was injured once in his life as a Peshmerga, and in 1991 he was martyred in the liberation of Sulaymaniyah in front of the Red (Suraka) Security of Sulaymaniyah.


Asad Wussien Ghafur was born in Halabja in 1972, He studied until the fourth grade of high school, he was arrested by Ba'ath's general security in Sulaymaniyah in 1989 and imprisoned for one year and four months and was decreed to be executed, but because of the Shia uprisings in Najaf and Karbala, he escaped from the prison in 1991.

In 1983, he went to Ahmadawa village to become a Peshmerga, but because of his young age, he was not accepted by the commanders of the Peshmerga force. In 1983, after returning from the mountains, he contacted the secret cells of the Kurdistan Democratic Party, and became a cadre in the cell of Hawraman Osman, who was responsible for the organization belonging to the Halabja District Committee of the fourth branch of the Kurdistan democratic Party, he was an educated and active cadre and supervised a group of activities.

In October 1989, Asad Wussein Ghafur went to the Baynjani village near Sulaymaniyah city to hold a meeting with the secret cells of that area, but one of the participants of the meeting was a collabrator and revealed the time and place of the meeting, so Asad was surrounded and arrested inside the village by the soldiers and intelligence cadres of the Ba'ath regime, he was transferred to the large prison of Sulaymaniyah city, and after nine months of imprisonment he was sent to the North Organization of Kirkuk, there he was sentenced to death. For implementation of the decision of the Iraqi Supreme Court Asad has been transferred to Najaf prison, but due to the uprising of the people of Najaf and the deterioration of the security situation in the city, Asad Wussien Ghafur finds an opportunity and escapes from prison. He was a Peshmerga of uprising of the people of Kurdistan.

On March 7, 1991, in the recapture of The Bayanjan Police Station, a bullet was shot to his leg and was injured, and after receiving the necessary treatment, he decided not to rest and to participate in the uprising campaigne.

On March 8, 1991, in the liberation of Sulaymaniyah city, he was ambushed in the Red (Suraka) security forces by the Ba'ath regime, and at first he was seriously injured by a hand grenade in front of the door of the Red Security. After his rise and continuation in attacking the Red Security, he was shot and martyred in the door of the Red Security headquarters, his body was disfugred due to the large number of the bullets he was shot by.

Jalal Mohammed Ahmad

Martyr Jalal Mohammed Ahmad served as a Peshmerga during the May Revolution. Throughout his Peshmerga career, he encountered two occurrences of injury. In 1982, he was apprehended by the Sulaimani security forces and subsequently executed. Jalal Mohammed Ahmad was born in 1962 in the village of Dula Suri, located in the Nalparez district of Penjwen district. He grew up as a villager and received education up until primary school.
