Biography
Ali Hussein was born in 1966 in Duhok. In 2001, he graduated with a law degree from Salahaddin University, Erbil. He is fluent in both Kurdish and Arabic.
Service Record
In 1982, Ali Hussein joined the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP). He also joined the Peshmerga forces of the KDP's second branch in 1991. Additionally, he took part in the uprising in southern Kurdistan.
He was a delegate to the 11th (1993) and 12th (1999) congresses of the KDP. Also, in 2010, he was elected as a member of the leadership council of the KDP at the 13th Congress. Moreover, in 2022, he became a member of the Central Committee at the 4th Congress.
At the inaugural meeting of the leadership committee, he was re-elected as a member of the KDP's political bureau, and he was also appointed head of the Sulaimani province's organizing bureau.
As he rose through the ranks of the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP), he was given a number of responsibilities, including:
