Ali Hussain

Attorney and politician Ali Hussein Ahmad, also known as Ali Surchi, joined the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) in 1982. He was a delegate to the 11th (1993) and 12th (1999) congresses of the KDP. Also, in 2010, he was elected as a member of the leadership council of the KDP at the 13th Congress.


Biography

Ali Hussein was born in 1966 in Duhok. In 2001, he graduated with a law degree from Salahaddin University, Erbil. He is fluent in both Kurdish and Arabic.

Service Record

In 1982, Ali Hussein joined the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP).  He also joined the Peshmerga forces of the KDP's second branch in 1991. Additionally, he took part in the uprising in southern Kurdistan.

He was a delegate to the 11th (1993) and 12th (1999) congresses of the KDP. Also, in 2010, he was elected as a member of the leadership council of the KDP at the 13th Congress. Moreover, in 2022, he became a member of the Central Committee at the 4th Congress. 

At the inaugural meeting of the leadership committee, he was re-elected as a member of the KDP's political bureau, and he was also appointed head of the Sulaimani province's organizing bureau. 

 

As he rose through the ranks of the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP), he was given a number of responsibilities, including:

  1. 1Head of Harir area committee (1994).

  2. Head of Shaqlawa area committee of the second branch committee (2001). 

  3. Administrator of the 16th Branch Committee (2004).

  4. Head of the committee of the tenth branch of Soran (2005-2011).

  5. Head of the committee of the second branch of Erbil (2013).

  6. Head of the Kurdistan-Iraq Relations Bureau of the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) (2017).

Hiwa Ahmed Mustafa

Politician Hiwa Ahmed Mustafa, known as Hiwa .A.M, H. Lawk, Swara, Bawki Bizaf) joined the party ranks in 1992, he was the representative of the party in the eleventh (1993) and twelfth (1993) Congresses. In 2010 in the thirteenth congress he was elected as a member of the leadership council of the Kurdistan Democratic Party.

Masoud Sallayi

Masoud Mustafa Kaka Hama Hussein, known as Masoud Sallayi, joined the Party ranks in 1964; in 1974 he became the administrator of the Khabat Region branch Committee, which included the General Directorates of the September Revolution.
