Martyr Wrya Abdullah Ali Samad was born in 1977 in the village of Nazanin, belonging to the town of Hiran in Erbil Governorate. He studied through the sixth grade of primary school and was unmarried.
In 1995, he joined the ranks of the Kurdistan Democratic Party; in the same year, he became a Peshmerga in the Second Battalion of Army 6 of Soran. He participated in the battles of the Balakayati area and was martyred in 1996 during the internal war in the village of Mawilyan.
