Waso Hamad Law, known as Waso Hamad Law, was born in 1952 in the village of Gwani, affiliated with the Diana sub-district of Erbil Governorate. He was married and had two daughters and a son.

In 1968, along with his brother Abdulwahid, he joined the Peshmerga forces of Kurdistan. He became a Peshmerga in the Sayid Asi Battalion, affiliated with the Balak Force, and participated in the battles of Mount Zozk, Sartiz, and the Omar Agha Pass.

In 1974, after the resumption of war between the Peshmerga forces and the Ba'ath Party, he took up arms as a Peshmerga again and defended the land of Kurdistan. On April 17, 1974, in the battle of Mount Goraz near the village of Balakyan in the Diana sub-district, he, his older brother named Abdulwahid Hamad Law, a cousin, and several of his relatives were martyred.

Due to the situation of the war and the presence of enemy tank and artillery bombardment, it was not possible to bury the remains of the martyrs in the village of Gwani, so they were buried in the village of Sitkan.
