Doctor Tawfiq was born in 1946 in the village of Kani Watman, affiliated with the Khalifan sub-district. He completed his secondary education. Struggle RecordIn 1970, he joined the Peshmerga forces of the Kurdistan Democratic Party and went to Commander Younis Rojbayani, because he was literate, he participated in a first aid course at the leadership in Galala. After completing the course, several doctors were transferred to the various branches of the Kurdistan Democratic Party, and Doctor Tawfiq and Doctor Aziz were assigned to the Fourth Branch of the Party and headed to the border of Sulaymaniyah Governorate.
In 1971, they were stationed in a cave in the village of Khalakan. Later, a force of soldiers and Jash attacked them, and during their confrontation, he was hit by a bullet and was martyred.
