Biography

Martyr Sayfadin Omar was born in 1972 in Erbil Governorate. He was a resident of the city of Erbil and a graduate of the primary stage. He was occupied with trade in the Erbil market.

Struggle Record

Martyr Sayfadin took up arms in 1991 and became a Peshmerga under Khosrow Kawani and the forces affiliated with the Shaqlawa Regional Committee. In the popular uprising of the people of Kurdistan in 1991, he participated in the liberation of the Shaqlawa district, Kore, Erbil Governorate, and Kirkuk Governorate.

On March 20, 1991, during the liberation of Kirkuk Governorate, he was hit by a bullet in the head at the Khalid military base and was martyred.
