Salih Rashid Rahman Ali, was born in 1942 in the village of Doli Nawhawt in the Shamiran region, affiliated with Darbandikhan District. He was a villager and was engaged in farming. A brother of his named Hama Saeed Rashid fell into a military ambush by the regime in Year 1965 and is missing. Hama Saeed's mother's name is Mina Kaka Khan, and his brothers' names are Muhammad and Ahmad, and his sisters' names are Amina, Sa'at, Fatima, and Jamila.
Struggle RecordSalih Rashid Rahman Ali became a Peshmerga in Year 1962 in the Shamiran Force under the command of Hama Shamirani, which at that time the Shamiran force was an independent force and received orders from the leadership of the revolution. Also, the border of the activity of this force was mostly in the Shamiran region and the Nawroli region. But after creating the military structure of Aylul Revolution in Year 1965, this force remained as an independent force and was placed under the Khabat Force of the Kurdistan Democratic Party.
Salih Rashid participated in the Sartiz battle in the Barzan region, the battles of Mount Zemnako, the battle of the Garmian and Khanaqin plains, and the battle of Halabja. In Year 1966, he was severely wounded in the battle of the Garmian plain. In Year 1966, after returning and receiving treatment, he received the rank of squad leader. In Year 1967, in the village of Pris, affiliated with Halabja Governorate, he was martyred in a confrontation with Jash and regime soldiers.
