Martyr Salih Hussein Rahman Abbas was born on August 3, 1948, in Olwari village in the Shamerani area, belonging to Darbandikhan district. He was a villager engaged in farming and was martyred in 1968.
Struggle BiographyMartyr Salih Hussein Rahman became a Peshmerga in 1967 in the Fourth Branch of the Sixth Battalion of Bamo, belonging to the Khabat Forces of the Kurdistan Democratic Party; at that time, Qadir Hama Salih Taghawi was head of the Fourth Branch.
In 1968, regime mercenaries (Red Kolwana), in coordination with soldiers of the Iraqi regime at that time, attacked the Peshmerga trenches. Salih Hussein Rahman was martyred in the Bawakochaki trench, belonging to Halabja city.
